The layout

Three turrets, one wraparound deck, and six bedrooms that don't share a wall with the party.

The main floor is the social one. Kitchen, dining room and living room each sit in their own bay-windowed turret facing the bay, which means wherever the group ends up, somebody is looking at water. The kitchen runs full granite with double ovens and a breakfast bar; the dining room seats ten without adding a folding table.

All of it opens onto the wraparound deck — fire pit at one end, dining table under an umbrella in the middle, lounge chairs pointed west at the far end for the part of the evening everyone stops talking for.

Six bedrooms and five and a half baths spread the sleeping out. The primary suite looks at the bay. There's a bunk-friendly kids' room, and enough bathrooms that a house of fourteen never turns into a queue at eight in the morning.

Below, at ground level: a fenced turf yard with a playset, an outdoor shower for salt and sand, and the walkway out to the dock.
